Boxercise is simply an exercise class that uses training techniques that boxers use to keep fit. Boxercise classes can take different and variable formats that may include Shadow Boxing, Hitting Pads, Skipping, the use of Punch Bags, Shuttle Runs, Press Ups and Sit Ups. Children are also welcome to attend, either in a class or if accompanied by their guardian. No class involves the physical hitting of an opponent, it's a fun, challenging and safe workout.
For the ladies, not only is it a great way to keep in shape but also an invaluable asset to help keep those unwanted pounds off. Express yourself and be the best that you can!.
Getting Started
There are many places that offer Boxercise classes and Flextech is just one of them.
Boxing clubs offer a more intimate workout geared especially to those who wish to take their first step into the ring and fight an opponent.
Take the first step and come along to one of our classes to get the feel of things. You won't need silk shorts or boots with tassels on them, nor will you need corner men or flashy robes.
You will need :- A pair of trainers, Leggings or shorts and a Light, Loose Top..

Remember, every boxer will have started in clubs and gyms like this, so anyone and everyone can work their way up to a good level of fitness.Boxing is a great way to do that, you'll channel your aggression and control your inner feelings even though there is no physical contact. Increase Your Discipline Most people don't realise that boxing training is about discipline.
When to hold back and when to go forward. The knock on effect of this carries on into everyday life and could control drinking and eating habits leading to a fitter world both emotionally and mentally.
Focus Your Energy and Concentration Training boosts your mind and gives a helping hand to your self belief. It's a great boost for overweight children and it also boosts self esteem for those for those who are a little less confident for those who are a little less confident.
